YPS Advocacy

IUBC Foundation has pioneered the implementation of the Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) agenda, marking the first initiative of its kind in Bangladesh. Unlike temporary projects, this is a continuous operation organized entirely by the Foundation to foster long-term stability. Through this initiative, the IUBC Foundation focuses on empowering young people as key stakeholders in preventing conflict and sustaining peace, establishing a robust framework that aligns national interests with global peacebuilding goals.

The program operates through extensive collaboration, working hand-in-hand with various Government and Non-Government organizations to ensure widespread institutional support. We are also deeply committed to inclusivity, engaging personnel from diverse backgrounds to ensure the program represents all sectors of Bangladesh. Our efforts differ from traditional workshops by creating a cohesive ecosystem where youth, policymakers, and inclusive personnel work together to bridge the gap between policy and community action.

Specifically, the IUBC Foundation is currently innovating a groundbreaking platform that stands to be the first of its kind in the world. This digital initiative aims to provide a dedicated “safe space” for youth in the digital world, addressing the critical need for online security and constructive engagement. By leveraging this technology, we are not only protecting the youth from digital harms but also enabling them to promote the values of Youth, Peace, and Security globally.
