Digital Medial Literacy

IUBC foundation has also initiated the community awareness program of “Sustainable Digital and Social Literacy Workshop” funded by European Union in March 2021. The project length is 6 months. In this project IUBC Foundation focus on promote awareness of COVID-19 and reduce discrimination, increase Media literacy, UNICEF WASH strategy, hate speech, and stigmatization against specific communities.

More than 130 youths and religious leaders participated in our 7 days daylong workshop event and gained valuable knowledge. Our experts and trainers took sessions in details on the topic of Covid-19 IPC, Media Literacy & Spot misinformation, Self-Esteem & Increase leadership, reduce hate speech in the community & Peace building. The learning progress was so significant and out of 4 valuation knowledge level, initial knowledge level of the participants was increased from 1.40 to 3.29 after the workshop.

Specially Covid-19 awareness and UNICEF WASH strategy session was especially effective right now in this pandemic situation. Participants after the workshop spread Covid-19 IPC knowledge in their community and promoted the importance of Water, Sanitation & Hygiene.
