Peacebuilding is at the heart of the IUBC Foundation's mission. We firmly believe that sustainable progress and positive change in society start with peace. Our organization was founded on October 24, 2019, by a group of dedicated young visionaries who recognised the critical need for peace within communities. We are committed to fostering harmony, resolving conflicts, and building bridges among diverse groups, ultimately creating a more peaceful and prosperous world.In our pursuit of peace, we have initiated numerous projects that bring communities together, address underlying tensions, and promote dialogue and understanding. These efforts have had a profound impact on reducing conflict and promoting cooperation.Disaster Risk Reduction is another vital aspect of our work. In times of crisis, we have conducted more than 50 winter clothing drives and relief distribution efforts. Our rapid response and effective management strategies have provided essential support to those affected by disasters. By actively engaging in disaster risk reduction, we aim to mitigate the impact of catastrophes on vulnerable communities.Community Policing is yet another dimension of our commitment to creating safer and more secure communities. Our collaboration with the Dhaka Metropolitan Police on the Youth Cooperation Series (DYCS) program, is a testament to our dedication and integrity in community engagement. We believe that community policing not only enhances safety but also strengthens the bonds between law enforcement and the communities they serve.Education, healthcare, and inclusivity are additional areas where we have made a significant impact. We are dedicated to providing quality learning opportunities, especially in remote areas of Bangladesh, ensuring that education is accessible to all, regardless of their location. Through our WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) projects and medical camps, we address critical health needs and enhance overall well-being.
